You need to make your intentions clear and lunch won't cut it at this point. Don't make it a fancy dinner but it needs to be clear it's a date. Don't go spilling your guts and talking about all of your feelings or anything like that, and don't treat her like she's a delicate flower or something untouchable. Just be cool, be yourself, but be clear. In case you're not getting it: clarity is key.
Dinner, though. Lunch dates work for people you've just met and are interested in. Lunch dates between friends are too common to allow you to figure anything out.
Of course. The most I'd probably say is like "I think you're a really sweet girl, and I like you" or something of the sort. Stop me if even that seems too far, though.
Anyway, I wanted to take her to this little sushi bar downtown, it's nothing fancy, the atmosphere is mostly laid back and friendly and the food is delicious.
Do you guys think it'd be a little too much to offer to pay for her as well? I don't mind it at all and I'd gladly pay for her, but, like some other people have said, it might seem like I'm coming on too strong at such an early point and I'm just like.
