That is strange. Did you get a new one for today or still have that Pie Medal from yesterday?
Did you equip your medal? Or have you been in the fm, mts, cs, or minidungeon? If you aren't receiving the green envelope at the 15min or 45min mark, then you are at a place where you cannot receive the cake vs pie envelopes like the minidungeon.
