I have unlimited access to the Encyclopedia Britannica on my shelf. Doesn't mean I know even 1% of what's written there.
They get code updates from other versions and apply automated tools to merge the new code into theirs (or completely overwrite the old version). They don't have to actually read the new code and see what it does and how.
Anyway, yeah, these fail "anti-hack" measures have got to go.
In an unrelated wtp, do they have like a ticket lottery to pick a bug to fix? That's the only reason I can think of for the Black Metus normal attack bug to have gotten priority to be fixed. And posted in the update notes too! Just exactly how many players has this major issue affected?
