Only thing i'm going to bother responding to. I know they said legends are being worked on. I just can't find the source.

I don't want to see a source that says they are being worked on; I want to see a source that says they are due this year.
You're straying from your original statement.

Obviously they are being worked on.

The character had pointed ears, therefore an elf (or whatever race athena is; 99% sure it's an elf), and because elfs are traditionally archer based (dragon nest...any other MMO)...

Well, you can see where i'm going with this.

Every 4th Job instructor has pointed ears.

Maplestory breaks a multitude of "traditions".
That said, "traditionally", elves are also magic users, a trait completely absent in Maplestory.

Also, we already know she wasn't just some generic filler character. Spadow stated in his blog that stirred up this whole Archer hero thing for us that the press release from Nexon Korea for the video stated she was a new character.

If a character has not been seen before, it is a new character.
A new character can be a filler character. Even Valerie, the pirate, is a generic, filler character whose only purpose in the game is as the third singer on-stage for whatever event KMS has going on.

You're making logical leaps that simply are not there.

It seems rather obvious that she's related to the hero storyline if not the hero herself.
