Something to support your argument was that he used Kunai's to kill those guys, Neji could have used that Chakra Palm thing.

But I think it is Neji maybe, for the reason that Sakura actually healed him herself. Wouldn't she have known it was a clone? Or is she really that stupid.

Chakra sensors couldn't tell it wasn't neji but you expect Sakura to? Zetsu is able to put up a perfect disguise and he didn't act out of neji's character in a very perceivable way. That doesn't make Sakura stupid in any way. As for your first point, conserving chakra by killing people with kunai isn't that strange either although you can say the same for my byakugan point (I think it uses less chakra then juuyken techniques).
