I thought the maximum you can hit on the 6th mob is 2.48m. Even if it could hit 8 targets the max would be 3.58m.

That said, remember that Pierce hits twice now.
So, while it's harder to reach max damage with the first hit, the maximum you can hit on the last monster is now double i.e. 4.96m.

HT/PB you're really only attacking 1 part at a time. Maybe 1-3 at most for HT.

You could still hit multiple body parts or multiple statues at HT/PB, respectively.

Is it confirmed there's no Archer hero now or what?

At minimum, it means that everyone who was all "OMG ARCHER HERO INCOMING" get to shut up.
Honestly, I can't believe so many people loaded onto that bandwagon.

Nexon's stupid, but not stupid enough to go through exhaustive re-balancing of classes for the explicit purpose of re-attracting interest only to negate that new interest entirely by introducing a new job.

Not in this update, at least. The question of whoever that girl is supposed to be is still up in the air.
