I like Zelda but to be honest, it has very little going for it besides nostalgia. Most of the games are completely devoid of story or it's as simple as "save the princess!" and there's very little intrigue surround the worlds. Beyond that, it's missing... I don't know... FUN! They create these grand worlds that are massively devoid of anything for miles at a time.
The best things about Zelda are its puzzles and dungeon designs. But it's missing the spirit of the adventure game these days which is a shame because it essentially created the genre.
