I'm facepalming for the same reason you listed in your last line: if you got it, why do you need to post that something's unneeded and stupid in the first place?
My point is if you really got it you'd understand that it's relevant and clever for other people, just not you, so it's not worth your time to post in the first place. Have a slight chuckle and move along, but don't patronize the chosen theme of the message just because it's not clever enough for you.
