I never had or used max HA, and thus I don't miss or regret not maxing it. Then again, I don't think MP eater saved me all that much in pots, either. IMO if you're talking about getting to fourth job and beyond, it doesn't really matter. If you're stopping at third job, eater helped me more then. Second job, I'd probably just max HA.
