So they were bluffing...not a good sign when it comes to future exploiters/hackers.

Those responsible have been banned from the game along with illegitimate Anniversary coins and any mesos gained by selling illegitimate Anniversary items.

All players that abused this exploit will be banned

Notice how they say the ones who abused the exploit? Meaning the hackers who did it and not just those who bought up a bunch of scrolls.
