It seems the overall best method of action is to make a Hero into another job that isn't a Magician since Advanced Combo Attack is the largest damage increase in the game, Paladins are fairly useless to rebirth unless you're going into a Hero to be able to use charges with ACA, and Berserk isn't anywhere near as strong as ACA, though Beholder gives a bit of a boost.
I'm interested in seeing whether going double magician, which is retarded by the way, would give double Elemental Amplification.
Either way, it appears Magicians don't provide any significant bonuses other than Magic Guard, since attacking spells are weapon blocked, and Teleport Mastery isn't a large increase in damage compared to stuff like Shadow Partner, Berserk, and ACA (unless it works with those, but still small compared to bigger fish).
The only other real feasible bonuses would be to grab Shadow Partner, Flash Jump, and the passives off a Night Lord/Shadower.
I presume Shadow Partner gets some ridiculously gigantic bonus from ACA and Berserk, where if you have them both on, Shadow Partner would get double the damage bonus like every other case an outside multiplier is added to it (see +total damage% potential).
i.e. normally, you would do 100% + 50%, but with Berserk it would be 160% + 128%, and 200% + 200% with ACA(FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU).
Bowmen sure do suck though. Only transferable skills are Critical Shot, and Expertise which likely do not work without their weapons, and Sharp Eyes that you can get from a party member anyways.
