Western-style MMOs like WoW and Rift are about coordination and control. It's an entirely different style of gameplay.
The bosses are story oriented and are tied down by their specific class formula. Such as the original boss I showed you is exactly what it's implied to be, a meat bag that hits hard, because he's an "evil" destroyer. This one is a blade master, much more slick,

sufficed to say it looks like the bosses have a lot more thought in them as they are part of the story, as are their attributes. Also trying to compare intro level bosses (level 30?) in a closed beta test is stupid to say the least.
