Isn't day 0 just the wait in line and get your stuff and leave ._.?

Last year i really enjoyed day1 cause it was on a thursday and it wasn't crowded at all compared to saturday. Day4 is a half-day and is on july 4th, so it's not that great really. But the exhibit hall thing is true as vendors will rather get rid of anything they still have to save on costs bringing it back to japan/wherever they are.
