You're comparing your culture to theirs. To us them doing that is wrong, and I bet to them stuff we do makes no sense and/or is wrong.
You gotta realize that and not be so blinded by "omg that's sick and disgusting." Sure I don't agree to it myself, but I realize they're gonna do what they feel is right.
