Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

Typically with my Irelia I don't max Hiten Style until lvl 18. I find that its damage just isn't that good compared to the other two skills at her disposal, and her ult makes the healing from Hiten Style very insignificant. It's either ult for health, or push a lane like crazy.

EDIT: Keep forgetting to mention this, but that game near noon time with you, me, dante, and two others had something I wanted to talk to you about. Before they surrendered, Warwick and Veigar were chasing you down middle lane. I knew Warwick would want to ult you the first chance he got, so I saved my Equilibrium Strike. Apparently he was warry of my counter response to his ult. You got quite a bit of a way back to the other side after ghosting, but then when you turned around and Rune Prisoned him, I was like "damnit Duel why'd you do that" and slapped E on him in hopes of slowing him down. But then you decided to turn around anyways, and first thing that came to my mind was "Exhaust or he's dead."

Moral of the story: know champion abilities and their cooldowns plz!

EDIT2: Based on LoL Replay, I took Cait's ult in the face to save your ass after WW died.

To be fair if it's the fight I was thinking of then there would have been another person or two in between me and cait besides you that I was using to block it with.

That made me forget what I was going to post. I found this on the Riot forums earlier and thought I would share it with you.
It is by xypherous about a thread made questioning vayne and irelia designs.

Vayne primarily does physical damage and partially true. Where does Vayne's magic damage come from?

Ireila is problematic because, on average in a fight, her activated 'W' will outdamage Vayne's silver bolts in a fight.

Compare: 75 true damage a hit compared to 2.3% of their maximum health + 23 per hit. A champion would need 2260 health before Silver Bolts was on par, but Irelia can have this starting at level 9, while Vayne needs to wait for her opponents to seriously start buying health gear.

Irelia is also problematic because she has everything she needs to survive *and* inherent toughness on par with many other characters. She has the highest CC reduction potential in the game, at 61% CC reduction, turning 2 second stuns to 0.75 seconds. She has a 60% slow or a stun. She has ranged AoE harass whose life-steal component can't be stopped short of ignite and healing reduction. Her damage is fairly split between physical / magical and true compared to Vayne's 80/20 split between physical and true. If you buy Chain Vest against Vayne, you are going to survive quite a bit longer.

Barring that, Irelia simply has no weaknesses. This is an attribute shared with Jarvan and Nocturne. This is inherently problematic because if these characters get ahead, they cannot be shut down. Vayne, on the other hand, if she gets ahead, she's *still* relatively fragile and you can itemize against the majority of her damage.
