I had submitted a ticket about this shortly after it came out and here's the response I got:
We appreciate you taking the time to report this issue. After internal testing we have confirmed this issue and have forwarded the relevant information. The issue is now pending investigation. We ask that you please be patient while we look into the possible solutions to this issue.

Don't usually get a ticket response like this so IDK, but even if the cause is due to a memory leak, just do what we had to do before and disable your sound card before booting up maple and see if that helps. I think I'm going to try that soon.
