An open letter to Nexon and MapleStory players

IP bans are not tied to people. MAC addresses are tied to their computers, however! Provided that Blizzard uses the same method (IP + MAC Address Ban simultaneously), in order to go around the said ban, they've reduced their hacker ratio to completely minimal amounts. Why hasn't Nexon started doing what they've been doing yet?

A MAC-address will never get to Nexon. Unless MapleStory explicitly asks for the MAC-address and sends it within a datagram, the MAC-addresses in the Ethernet-frame is replaced at first router-jump.

But, let's assume MapleStory does exactly that: Requests and sends the computer's MAC-address within a datagram right after the connection establishment with Nexon. MAC addresses are tied to interfaces. So if your MAC-address got to Nexon, you could just go from wireless to wire, because they are two different interfaces.

But, assuming they've managed to ban all your MAC-addresses, either by banning them all, or requesting all MAC-addresses to all the interfaces, then what happens? Well, you do this:
