If you don't plan on dying, mejai's works well (just be carefull: getting mejai's makes you start getting focused, and you end up losing a lot of them. I usually avoid mejai's)
otherwise, an early tear can make your archangel's give a ton of ap. The fastest way to get 700 ap:
Tear -> Blasting Wand -> Blasting Wand -> Needlessly Large Rod -> Rabadons -> Archangel's -> Blasting Wand -> Tear -> Archangel's
Bam. Then go into a RoA, Frozen Heart and Banshee's. pineapple boots. Only noob karthus use boots.
Needs moar Mpen. RoA's nice and all but a void staff gets you tons more damage since they'll all start building Mres.
