Fucking. exhausted. Worked 5.5 hours at new job yesterday (now I'm also a Swarovski retail peach, moving up in the world) and another 8 today, which involved me closing the store by myself today, only three days in. I've worked retail for a year now and you'd think I would be fine with everything, but oh noes. The specifics of every store are so different, and I'm doing my best to learn everything immediately, but blergh can it be overwhelming every now and then. Well, it's ultimately overwhelming because of everything else going on in life; ultimately not the most difficult job in the world by any stretch.
But I'm working another 8 hour shift tomorrow that I have to leave for in 10 hours. I also need to finish a paper tonight, which will probably involve a good 4 hours of work. Then tomorrow night after work I need to call my parents for Mother's Day, then watch Desperate Housewives, then finish two massive journalism pieces by midnight.
Then I have one final Monday, two on Wednesday, and one on Thursday, all of which I haven't started studying for and have tons to do for each.
Last final ends Thursday night at 9:25 pm local time, and I need to be at work before noon local time Friday. Also working next Saturday, which happens to be my sister's 18th birthday.
Massive post tl;dr: Super jealous of my roommate + tons of other friends whose semesters are leisurely ending, allowing them to fabulously enter summer 2011. I get to kill myself for another week. And another two while I work crazy hours.
Cannot wait for May 27. Four day break to go home and visit relatives + sister for her H.S. graduation, then starting full time, 38-40 hrs a week at Swarovski, which will be a lot less crazy than my life these next three weeks.
