Let me tell you all a story about Khoi, that no one knows but he and I, but now I feel it is appropriate to tell.
Last winter, I needed to get into New York, and would drive there as a road trip. So, on my way there, I knew Khoi was around here somewhere. I went into my memories and remembered his telephone number that he gave me, when we discussed how could it would be to go drinking. I called and he picked up. He was nice enough and told me where exactly he was. En route, a massive snow storm ripped through the country where I was driving. Instant whiteout conditions. I couldn't move forward for fear of hitting a ditch or another car and that would totally suck. So, I was able to pull under a bridge after 40 mins. of driving 5 mph. It was terrible, one of the worst experiences of my life. I was praying nonstop. I called Khoi and told him where I was and what was happening. He took it all in, and didn't say a word. At the end, he said, "Okay, I'm coming." and put down the phone. I was flabbergasted, why would he come? I kept on thinking about this till suddenly, I heard the roar of snowmobiles and loud Asian anime music. I braved the weather to go outside, only to be greeted by none other than Khoi and a bunch of other Asians. They were so happy to see me and before I could do anything, put a helmet on me and strapped me to one of the snowmobiles. I couldn't communicate with my driver, since we both had helmets and the music was thumping. We went for quite some time, until we pulled up to what seemed like an apartment complex. I was pushed up the stairs to this really warm and inviting room, filled with other Asians. At the sight of me, they all cheered and hoisted me on their shoulders. They pushed bottles of beer and other drinks into my hands. By this point, I was getting quite hazy, and noticed a really amazing looking Asian chick on the other side of the room. I walked over, trying to say something not drunk when she leaned in and kissed me. I recoiled in shock. She grabbed my hand and brought me into a room of the apartment and I had the most amazing sex ever. It blew my mind. The next morning, I woke up with a hangover. I stumbled out of the room, with nothing but her underwear on, to a sparkling clean apartment. The mess from the previous night was gone. Khoi was out there, cooking breakfast. It was surreal. He turned and looked at me only to say, "How do you want your eggs and bacon?" I think I mumbled out, "Benedict" and turned to go back to the room I had just come out of. The hot Asian chick was waiting there and she brought me into the bath. We had the best morning shower ever. We both came back out, only to see piping hot breakfast. It was delicious. Khoi told me to look outside and my car was there. I turned around in shock and he only handed me the keys and told me, "It was fun. Come around again some other time." I left, stunned.
And that is why Khoi is the best bro ever.
