JUDAS MUSIC VIDEO

I love lady gaga, but this song is just unexplainable until she says how was it suppose to be interpreted. Judas was known for the betrayal of jesus. In this song she is praising Judus. I've never been the type of person to feed into that Illuminati, devil worshiping rumors, because I don't believe in it, but when she comes out with songs like these it makes me think twice. As if people weren't already on her case for those rumors.


This is a pic of jesus, and judas on the right giving him a kiss. The crown that jesus is wearing is the crown that judas is wearing in the video.

The metaphor is that it is easier to cling to the evil and bad things in life, "the demon I cling to" than it is to do what is right. The video is a representation of the ordeal surrounding Jesus' capture and sentencing. Judas kissed Jesus to signify to the Romans which of the apostles was him, which is why Lady Gaga falls to her knees after putting lipstick on Judas. She doesn't want to bring harm to the Jesus figure but is unable to resist Judas/the Devils' persuasion. The stoning at the end is representative of what happened to the apostles. If you also looked, all of the bikers have the names of the 12 apostles on their backs as well. The water scene is an interpretation of the Last Supper where the famous washing of the feet occurred. I think when she is standing and water is pouring in is a representation of either Jesus being burdened with the cross on the parade to his death or the waiting of Mary outside his tomb. There's tons more, but I should be doing an English paper and not discussing theology.
