Possible archer hero spoiled?

If you think Nexon doesn't know it's going to release a new class at least half a year before it comes out, you're nuts.


My apologies; I'm not among those whose mouths are constantly at Spadow's crotch.

I did, however, know she was an NPC in whatever the bandstand thing is (I do pay attention to extractions).
I also knew that her artwork has represented female Adventurer pirates for quite a while.
That's exactly my point though: she's an unimportant character whose character art was pulled to fill a hole.

All I see is a video that needed five female characters for the choreography to work.
Elf-girl being there is as random as the pirate-girl being in the bandstand.
There's no emphasis put on her, she gets no more screen-time than anyone else, and there's no sort of "introduction" for her.
Pulling theories out of this is just as bad as trying to pull theories out of the Jump logo.

Still, if you think he's going to outright tell us that new classes are in development, especially with the negative reaction that new classes are having among parts of the GMS community (not to mention the fact that we had -just- recieved three new classes then), you're equally nuts. Remember, this is a GMS PR event, in which the big topic of the day was Chaos.

Last year was also full of leaks (MSEA contest winners visited Nexon Korea offices to bring back an image of Edelstein, patching some Resistance skills into the test server beforehand, and Nexon realizing their [censored]-up with that Mechanic image in their video but took it down too late). Did we know anything about the Knights of Cygnus before the Striker was first patched into the test server two and a half years ago? Aran before he suddenly hit the test server two years ago?

Evan having dragon equipment about a month beforehand I'll give. And we knew about Dual Blade beforehand because the KMS site hinted at its existence directly. (But then what does that make Elf Girl, in which Nexon is already saying that she's some sort of 'new character'?)

(Actually, the first half of last year was pretty messed up in terms of scheduling too. We did know due to a press conference around the time of Evan/Adventurer Rebalancing that there was supposed to be a big patch that March. Cue massively disappointed people when the anticipated 'big update' was just Hob King PQ along with skill strings for Resistance skills. Then April comes around with the potential system and such, and May hits us with the Resistance - with skills under pre-Big Bang standards, no less - and it turns out that the 'big update' in March was in reality pushed back to June/July as the Big Bang. Come to think of it, I think it's funny that we knew that much about the Resistance beforehand, yet nothing about Big Bang was blatantly leaked.)

Also, it's been almost a full year since new classes were released in KMS. Anyone who thinks Nexon Korea is going to go any longer without releasing a new class is nuts too. It may not be part of the Jump update, but I'm damned sure it's going to at least be part of some big Summer update, especially what with the Jump updates suspiciously ending with the Archers (in May, no less) and absolutely no mention of the Thieves and Pirates recieving a revamp as of yet.

Then this elf girl shows up. I don't know how you can compare pirate girl's 'art being pulled to fill a void' and elf girl's 'new art being created to fill a void'.
