It would appear to be that avoid frames are fixed now, just did another HT run and while in a set of cornians instead of seeing "missmissmissmissmissmissmiss hit" or "missmissmiss hit" It's just normal "miss - few seconds, miss/fake - few seconds" or taking damage and a couple seconds before anything else.
