Is that really how people think? They don't even care if nobody is being hurt, they just are that uncomfortable with themselves that they cannot allow anyone to think even remotely differently from them even if absolutely no harm ever comes from it? I can't accept that as being true; no matter how far society has fallen, it can't be THAT bad yet...good lord I hope it's not that bad yet ;_;
Are you seriously portraying pedophilia as a harmless fetish? You can't believe that society would be uncomfortable with it? Where the hell are you from? I live in a society that persecutes consensual sexual relationships between adults of the same sex, and people who even think about having consensual sexual relationships with people of the same sex. Pedophilia is several orders of unacceptability beyond that.
Children (especially prepubescent ones) are not sexual objects. They are extremely emotionally vulnerable people and the only people who are sexually attracted to them are disgusting people who enjoy the idea of exploiting the vulnerabilities of others. But "oh it's okay cause it's harmless if they're not actually going out and molesting children," you say. "They can't help being who they are." Well, would you be comfortable if your neighbor fantasized about murdering people all the time and collected weapons and posted disturbing stories online? Most people wouldn't. There's a big gray area between what's an acceptable fantasy and what people need to get locked up for but pedophilia isn't anywhere near it.
Of course this is way beyond why I dislike the video and that is mostly because it doesn't at all fit with Maple and I hate the song, but some of the pomegranate I'm reading in this thread just makes me furious.
