Fiddlesticks is confirmed to suck. For unknown reasons before his remake, Riot thought he was OP. I certainly haven't heard anything.
GP is also said to suck by forumgoers. If only they inversely scaled the slow on his ult appropriately with its size... imo that's where Riot screwed up.
I could let them slide by with the GP remake (yay no more denies!) but holy crap what were they thinking on the other two?
I do like the increased range on his q though. Even if the duration was decreased, it's easier to hit with it now, and that means it's easier to gank with him. I like the idea of his passive too, it makes sense that he'd plow into his opponents, it's just too bad it's still so terrible. I think it should be changed from damage to a knock back and slow like Maokai's w though. However, rather than push you forward, you get pushed to one side or the other. I think that'd add even more utility to his already impressive arsenal, but maybe that'd be op. Of course you could give it a cooldown, so he can only have it active once ever x number of seconds, but I doubt they'll do more than tweak the base numbers of it at this point. Anyway, I agree with you about the fail with him. He's still a great roamer and all, but his effectiveness as such took a pretty hard hit this patch.
Haven't tried Fiddle yet, but I had heard forum qq about it already. Guessing next patch they'll buff the ratios and maybe put the number of silence bounces back up some to 7 or 8, and/or change it so it champions take higher priority on bounces than minions. I might give hima try in a Co op game just to get an idea of how bad it really is, but I'd probably have to do a real game to get any real info on how badly the nerfs affected him.
As for GP, don't have him, but from what I've seen, he's almost as useful as he previously was, just a good deal weaker. Guessing they'll need to buff his stuff as well. Honestly I think they should make his ult stun if you get hit while in it. The slow is nice and all, but with the smaller range, I don't think increasing the slow amount is going to fix things. I mean, it doesn't have to be an uber long stun, but even a short stun would make it incredibly useful in team fights/turret dives, and actually not be op given the smaller radius and rng nature of it. Probably should buff his raise morale a bit too so it's actually a noticable buff. I think it should boost minions as well as champions. Combined, the two would turn him into a tower pusher, and I think that'd be pretty good. Also the raise morale affecting minions would bring back part of the whole denying idea, without it denying exp/gold. Effectively you could make your minions stronger so they push out, or not use it around them and let the other minions push yours back, without ruining the levels and experience of the enemy.
TLDR version: Next patch will probably have buffs for the nerfed champions . . . hopefully anyway.
Edit: Also Xin seems to be sitting pretty well after the buffs from this patch, at least from what I've seen/played, though it'll probably take a little while to tell whether he's balanced, still a bit up, or a bit op. Personally I'm leaning towards balanced, but I'm not a regular Xin player, and I didn't play him a ton pre nerfs either, so any improvements from his nerfs are going to make me feel better about him.
