Depends on where in California.
Most of it's crappy brown or gray with attempts to green it up.
Here for example is Nexon headquarters (old or new, I don't recall), a fairly typical idea of as green as it gets.

It's so thoroughly cultivated it doesn't really feel alive - It may as well be painted on.
