Alright, it turns out they are used for more than that, and, assuming I'm not looking at an old version of the recipes, so far, they're used in the recipes for the level 130 and 140 capes, giant bullet, infinite throwing knives, burning star, and all +stat potions, including the +4000 MaxHP one, but in pretty small quantities.

Powders being used, for these game breaking potions? You gotta remember, small quantities or not you have a whole economy that will be demanding powders for this very reason. Right now powders are kinda meh thanks to 10x equipment drop rate and the fact dropped equipment can come with potential lines while Maker-ed equipment aren't too special anymore. The buff potions I predict will be demanded like water, especially when top server guilds are involved.
