e.g. I looked through the other thread, and came across a lot of "terminology" for different figurines. Revoltech, PVC, nendoroids, to name a few. I got some information on them but not too much that would be beneficial.

Revoltech and Nendos are more like different line-ups of figurines. I can't really explain this well, I'm probably explaining it wrong. I'll do this later on. Lazy.

EDIT: Revoltech are similar to figma, but significantly better (imo). You can take off parts and re-attach them with parts from other Revoltech figures. Spidey can provide examples of this. They're basically figurines with joints.
Nendoroids are miniature figures, basically.. imagine 'chibi'. Large head, small body, made to look adorable.
