Which I understand, but the game is still balanced around a 5v5 setting, what I mean is 5 players vs 5 players. It's still a team based game overall. All the phases you mentioned still involve team player one way or another.
if the game was balanced around 1v1, then a 4v5 wouldn't make a difference.
