I'd like to point out an observation I made about the Republican ticket. Ever since Palin was named the candidate for VP, I have only seen Palin in the ads that occasionally pop up online. It's almost as if McCain is completely forgotten and Palin is the one running for President.
Opinion: Palin gets into the headlines way more often than McCain and they seem to be going by "all news is good news." And to get that coverage, they just use attention-grabbing phrases the media is bound to pounce on, like the pitbull with lipstick from awhile ago. I really hate how she keeps saying soccer/hockey moms and blahblah-joe. And, I don't think it's simply bias that's making people hate Palin, it just makes it more noticeable because the spotlight is on her. I hate Palin because she comes off as an ignorant person who memorizes catchphrases and doesn't know how to adjust.
And the worst part about the election is that the two sides just keep bashing each other even though they keep saying it's time to stop the blame game. And no, McCain is not the "true maverick" and Obama is not the "change" that the nation is waiting for, so I wish they'd stop saying trivial little things that try to dress them as such.
