Might need to put the cat to sleep soon, to be brutally honest. One of my cats had kidney failure, and we didn't realize it until it was too late. The cat ended up suffering pretty bad before we finally put her to sleep. You should bring your cat in to the vet soon to see what's going on. Really sucks to see a house animal suffer so much before the end.
Speaking of old animals, apparently my golden retriever only has about 2-3 months left to live, so I'm spending a lot of my spare time with the old guy. He's about 12 years old, which is pretty old for goldies I guess. Just be sure to give your cat lots of love, that's all he will ever ask for.
