 Hole in the Logic

For that to be true Caroline would have had to be installed on the same day as bring your daughter to work day and GLaDOS was in production for a long time. Granted it's plausible because, let's face it, this isn't based on real world logic and they could have ripped and uploaded her brain in one day... but still.

As well Chell has an "Adult" picture in the Folder at the end of the ratman comic, which means either "A" (assuming the file at the end is the same one he got in the "past") she was an adult when Glados first went crazy on "bring your daughter to work day" or "B" it was updated (with the assumption it's the same file as in the past) but no one had access to it except ratman.

GlaDOS was launched on Bring Your Daughter to Work Day. The brain could have been ripped years before when Cave died and the scientist forced her into taking the head of the company, against her wishes. This would orphan young Chell who could have grown up with an adopted family or otherwise next-of-kin.

Not sure about that last page in the Rat Man comic. GlaDOS could have set up a system for deciding whether to use people to test or to not or something.

Everyone remembers the bit with the moon, right? Shortly after that GlaDOS describes Chell as a "lunatic". A lunatic. Moon. Luna. That was amazing word choice of Valve's part.
