With 64-bit OS, 32-bit programs are still limited to 2 GB of memory allocation. That doesn't change. The OS and all other 64-bit programs will be able to allocate more than 2 GB, however.

But that would stop my computer from completely crashing, right? The program itself would just crash?

Edit: My program files location has a(x86) at the end of the file location. But my system says I have a 64-bit system.. I am very confused right now..
