Or you could get better at skillshots in general. Just because Maokai's snare is a point-click-win skill, doesn't mean it has its own downfalls; the most obvious one being that you can't blind shot someone in the fog of war or grass.
You could also try to get a more consistent internet connection. Seriously, if I would choose between connectivity that stutters between 50 ms and 200 ms, or connectivity that is constantly 200 ms, I would choose the constant 200 ms connection. Of course, this is speaking about playing some online games.
In terms of interrupts, Maokai only has one, just like Amumu and Malphite (ult).
