You young whippersnappers call THAT epic? I'll give you a baseline for epic!
What makes a game epic involves staring at the face of inevitable defeat for several minutes, losing all your towers, your inhibitors, and your dignity, and still making a comeback strong enough to suckerpunch their Nexus and their bloody little noses when they see "Defeat" on their screen. Yeah, that's right, from zero to hero!
Oh, you thought "just defend until inhibs come back" didn't you! Didn't you!! No siree, back in MY days, your Nexus is vulnerable and NAKED to backdoor TF once your towers are gone, FOREVER, and there's squat you can do about it! Yet I still destroyed everyone that tried with good ol' Anivia!

And then there are games where you roflstomp the other team so badly, they don't even get a chance to surrender. But that happens a lot more often.
