oh weird, i gotta try that with the battle subway... ive just been soft resetting after killing 1 thing in the elite 4 with an expshare on the thing i want to check stats. 8k exp if theyre level 1, and gets them to 18-22 which isnt too bad for stat checking.
also when breeding, i found everstones are far more useful than the extra inherited iv. if you're satisfied with 1 31 and several 20+'s its MUCH faster. you can get a specific nature and satisfactory iv in a 2nd stat at about a .5*(.16 [25+] or .33 [20+]) rate instead of a .04-.08 rate (1-2 satisfactory natures). im not yet willing to spend far too much time breeding in marginal stat boosts though...
