What part are you looking for? Why do you need it?:

Motherboard
CPU
Memory

Just upgrading

What parts are in your current computer? Be as specific as possible. Links to Newegg/Tigerdirect are best. If you have a pre-built, include the make and model.

ASUS P7P55 LX
Intel i5 760 2.8 GHz
EVGA GTX 460 1 GB
OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V
COOLER MASTER HAF 932

How do you intend to use this new part or new computer? What's the heaviest load it's likely to encounter?

Gaming. Any modern games - Dragon Age 2, Portal 2, etc. Basically anything that's coming out. Doesn't have to run it at max, but pretty close.

If you live anywhere other than the United States, please indicate your country.

Canada

I've been thinking of getting an i7-2600K with either this or this motherboard. Not sure about the memory. It's pretty cheap now, so I think I'll get either 6 or 8 gb.

I'm more or less forever chain and linked to MSI cause I've used their materials for a good while and I haven't had a DOA since I switched. Even if I received one now I thought it would've been a shipping issue.

But here's my point. I'm saying to go with MSI, but theres another reason. All the black material on the Sabertooth, it's black and black objects hold more heat and I don't like retaining more C than I need to already.

Also, go with 8gb ram. Future insurance.
