Okay, f'uck. Now I'm scared. First day of school and I'm sitting here reading about my professors.

Question: As long as I've grasped the materials (before the course), the teacher's quality or the lack thereof should not matter, is that correct? Or is there a hidden attribute to the US way of studying that I am not aware of? Perhaps, idk, the professor can deduct points off my GPA for... not remember to great details the definition of random theorems?
