It was her birthday actually.. She had never had a boyfriend before and I was the first guy she ever even liked in her life and I honestly felt something amazing with her from the get go. She was in my freshman Spanish class and we hit it off right away... Well I did.
I was outgoing and she was nervous and shy. She of course had been pent up all her life and all she knew was that she Ice Skated and liked Anime, Video Games, Drawing, and movies. She never really had any serious friends because of her parents being derp all the time, even leading to some serious stuff. But I guess I broke her from her shell a little bit and on her birthday we walked around the local plaza by us. Complete with a Target, Subway, Gamestop, Movie Theater, Michael's Arts and Crafts store... All that jazz. We walked around and laughed the whole day. Then it came to goodbye and her friends were there, so I said "Hey let's play hide and go seek." No I don't act like a 6 year old, I had a plan.
I ran and hid and I made sure she was it. She saw me run (which went better than expected) and came after me. She said "I have to go soon you know..."
"Yeah.. I know. Good day though."
"This has been the best day of my life."
Then she just fell into me and relied on my arms to just wrap themselves around her. Then I lifted her head up and gave her her first kiss. And she blushed like mad, tucked her head into me and giggled the cutest freaking giggle ever.
That's when I knew I'd be with her for a long time. Maybe even always...
I was right.
Every week we pretty much have a different date. We'll go see a new movie we like, watch some Anime, have marathons of stuff, draw with each other (for each other), play MapleStory, watch some more movies, walk each others dogs every so often, laugh, live, love.
My life is complete, so... I'm gonna keep going with that, whether or not it's cliche, it works for me. We make it what we want too, and I think that's where the originality lies.
Two years going and strong.
