i meant funding, of course if you are going to switch from one char to other it's gonna be expensive, but if you are going to start both from zero, and had to pick between a F/P or a mech for example, the mech would do more damage if you were to spend the mesos on it, while the A/M would be less powerful, even if you put the exact same amount of funding in it.
when i started my spearman, everybody was a dexless naruto, and it was the class that everybody played (and hacker spearmen <.<) i still went with the spearmen not for the more suckish range, not for the less damaging attacks, but because it was what i liked.
so back to the original comment, you can make any character do good damage with funding, but you can make already stronger by default chars deal even more damage.
