I completely agree that education is the best way to make a point and get a view across. I just don't see people who are against it willing to be educated and have their opinions change. Once people are deeply rooted in an opinion (my religion is the best, for example), it takes a lot to get them to see it from another viewpoint, and even more to get them to accept that viewpoint as a possibility.
To be honest, I don't get WHY this is an issue - the only reason a man and woman NEED to be together is to continue the human race. Otherwise, if 2 people love each other, allow them to show it just as any other couple does. But hey, why expect common sense to exist?
