That's not too different from what I do, really.
I'm a home-body, so I take showers almost every day (some days I don't, depending on what time it is and what's going on) but I don't use my body wash unless I know I'm going to do something that day. I use shampoo every day, though, since I love having soft hair. When I was younger, I'd not bathe much and I remember my hair being greasy and gross. I definitely don't want to go back to that.
I never stink for not actually scrubing my body clean, but I also don't do much, so that could be a huge factor.
