Yes, the common glove is better.
Its at its highest tier of potential, has good attack, is already epic and is 3 lined.
The potential would be the same if it was a class specific glove anyway, just without the limitation on who can use it.
Unless you want Sharp Eyes, but from what you said it seems like you want stats
