Not sure of the name of this "scam", but its kinda a scam-hack. Thousands of people in MSEA got hacked because of this. China hackers responsible.
You surf the FM for good stuff and scrolls. Suddenly, you come across this stall selling Fairfrozens and Ilbis and 3 Atk PACs for 1 meso EACH! You get excited and buy them all fast.
What you DON'T know is, these items have been cleverly decoded by hackers. A trojan is placed inside the item code, and it is coded back. You buy it. When the hackers are online, they track the trojan to your account, login, transfer everything, and then logout. These hackers are fast, normally you get hacked 1 day after you buy.
How to prevent: You can't really prevent this, even if you change your password constantly or don't go into the FM. Some people have even been hacked for looting a meso coin or simply accepting a trade. The only way to prevent is, if something is too good to be true, it isn't. And don't go around accepting trades from random people (with the excpetion of FM. If u're selling stuff, u have to accept trades, right? In this case, nothing you can do.)
