MattsOwns is one of the most well known hackers on Khaini. He's smega'd several hacked items in the past, and I've yet to see him banned once yet. I doubt something like this would get him banned as well.

He was banned during the Mesos Exploit last year but somehow they unbanned him.

I don't see any harm in those pot revealing hack since we're getting that kind of skill in Chaos.
