Stoichiometry

I love Stoichiometry, I'll be glad to help but I need to review it and someone to check over my stuff.
Sadly, I only know how to do it with dimensional analysis(if thats the ____| _____ | _____| like thing). I have my old PreAP Chem test over that section so I'll post a sample question.

I'll be putting subscripts in parathesis cause I don't know how to type that lol.

 Question 1

2NaCl + H(2)SO(4) -> Na(2)SO(4) + 2HCL

What mass in grams of sulfuric acid would completely react with 1.0mol of sodium chloride?

 Answer

(1.0molNaCl / 1) | ( 1molH(2)SO(4) / 2molNaCl) | (48gH(2)SO(4) / 1molH(2)SO(4))

49gH(2)SO(4)

 Explanation

To begin with, you know that you have 1.0molNaCl to react, so that is where that comes from. Then in the next process you compare the coefficients on the balanced equation in terms of moles, and then lastly you convert that into grams. The basic process to this is gram -> moles(available) -> moles(coefficents) -> gram

 Question 2

2NaCl + H(2)SO(4) -> Na(2)SO(4) + 2HCL

How many moles of HCl would form if 87.68g of NaCl were used with an excess amount of sulfuric acid?

 Answer

(87.68gNACL/ 1 ) | (1molNaCl / 58.45gNaCL) | (2molHCL / 2molNaCl)
note, molar mass of NaCl = 58.45g/mol

1.5molHCL

 Explanation

So in this you only know how much NaCl you've got to start with, so from there you need it convert it to moles to compare it with the equation. Thas where the 1/58.45 comes from because the molar mass of NaCL is 58.45. Then you compare the coefficents of the balanced equation in moles to get your final amount of moles of HCL needed. If the question would have asked how many grams, you would simple tack on a ( 36.45gHCL / 1molHCL).

 Question 3

2NaCl + H(2)SO(4) -> Na(2)SO(4) + 2HCL

How many grams of sodium sulfate would form if 78.4g of sulfuric acid is used?

 Answer

(78.4g H(2)SO(4) / 1 ) | (1molH(2)SO(4) / 98gH(2)SO(4) ) | (1molNa(2)SO(4) / 1molH(2)SO(4) ) | (142gNa(2)SO(4) / 1molNaSO(4))
note, molar mass of Na(2)SO(4) = 142g/mol
molar mass of H(2)SO(4)=98g/mol

113.6gNa(2)SO(4)

 Explanation

So the same stuff again, you have 78.4g sulfuric acid so you convert that to moles with the molar mass. Then from there you compare the coefficients of what you want and what you have, and then you convert that back in grams.
