Requesting for the power of dragonball Z would give me the adequate body to handle it, as power is in the body. Also in pokemon there is no death, excluding lavender town which only applies to the actual pokemon.
Also feeling that amount of "torment" and knowing you can't die, wouldn't it just transcend to a kinky type of torture. If you hurt yourself in the same method over and over again, your mind and body will adapt too it. Also fear of dieing would extremely lower your anxiety and think of the pain as simply a horror film.
