Oh my god... do I HAVE to say it again? I'm NOT saying that these two arguments are the same MATHEMATICALLY. I'm saying that we're running into the SAME problem: people arguing back and forth without anything being accomplished because the people who believe one side of the argument will never be convinced by the other.
