How long are you exposed when you walk through the scanner?

Not very long, but it becomes a major concern if you are a frequent flier, and soon will be the concern of the entire population now that the TSA has been trying to move these scanners to the streets and sports stadiums. If the spread of these scanners continues, this will be the concern of the entire population.

Regarding cancer, from what I have read, many doctors state that these scanners definitly will cause cancer as the terahertz waves rip open your DNA and leave "bubbles" in your strands.

And the people at the greatest risk are the TSA workers themselves. They are constantly exposed to this radiation every day they work, and they have none of the moniters or safety guidlines a standard hospital would have regarding radiation.
