A lot of people are presumably going to go out and buy NX now thinking it's going to go toward the relief funds. They'll either not read or misunderstand that items like cubes aren't covered and will spend all of that NX on them, completely negating their attempted contribution. It's things like this that make Nexon look so scummy but they can't be held accountable because the words are there and it's not their fault people don't read them.
For one thing, nexon suggests people should donate before even mentioning that nx will give some profit to the relief fund. And how many truly successful charity drives can you think of that work without some sort of bonus for the person donating?
I can say with absolute certainty that every charity in existence that doesn't give the people donating something out of it will not make as much money as ones that do.
Quote:To anyone who REALLY wants to donate to the Red Cross, I propose you just text 90999 to REDCROSS and leave out the middleman. If you want to buy NX, do it, but don't do it because you want to do something good. If you want to do something good, do it without getting something in return.
Keep preaching your moral high ground, but since you're probably not aware of it: This kind of acting superior isn't going to make people run out and donate money; you're more likely to just get people to say, oh , pineapple it, and do nothing.
